Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia (by kyweb)

Lakes Milanovac and Gavanovac at the Lower Lakes. The color of water are changing constantly from time to time.
——-
Plitvice Lakes National Park, the Croatia’s first and largest National Park founded in 1949 and the UNESCO World Heritage Site added in 1979, is an aria of 16 crystal blue and green water lakes, large and small, one underneath another. Over a distance of 8 km from an altitude 636 to 503 m, the 16 step-like lakes are linked together by forming a series of spectacular cascades and pounding waterfalls, and are supplied with water from numerous little brooks and stream.
No worlds (and of course even my pictures) can fully describe the beauty of this waterscape. It is surely the “Eden”, as often being called, and the one of the most beautiful, breathtaking and unforgettable destinations I’ve ever been.
